KuberNodes (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the KuberNodes platform and website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information we receive when you use our services.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly:

• Account registration data (name, email address, password hash)
• Payment and billing information (processed by our payment provider; we don’t store raw card data)
• Support communications

We also collect usage data automatically:

• API request logs (method, chain, latency, response code — no request payload content)
• Standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, HTTP method, path, user-agent)
• Aggregated metrics for capacity planning

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the KuberNodes platform
• To authenticate your identity and enforce your account quotas
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, invoices, critical service alerts)
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorised access
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 90 days after termination. Detailed request logs are retained for 30 days. Aggregated, non-identifiable metrics are retained indefinitely for operational analysis.

5. Data sharing

We share data only with sub-processors necessary to deliver the service (cloud infrastructure, payment processor, transactional email provider). A current list of sub-processors is available on request. All sub-processors are bound by data processing agreements.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use session cookies for authentication and a single analytics tool (self-hosted) to measure aggregate page traffic. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but authentication will not function without session cookies.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at privacy@kubernodes.com to exercise these rights. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest for sensitive data, along with access controls and regular security audits. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected users promptly in the event of a breach.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance.
